Mercury is still retrograde until the 20th of September, and will still have us in its clutches until the first week of October. It takes that long for Mercury to get back to normal speed, so don’t get all psyched on the 20th. It would still be advisable to have cautious optimism about communication, appointments, cars, computers, and travel until the first week of October. As you know, Mercury retrograde happens a few times a year and life goes on. But if you have something really big you are planning to do, see if you can wait until the first week of October. If not, then be really conscientious and be prepared to have to go through a few extra hassles.
Mars, the God of War, and Uranus, the purveyor of the Unexpected and Revolutionary, are busy doing their spastic little dance right now. They are conjunct, or sitting right next to each other, in early Pisces/late Aquarius. We will have some potentially hostile and upsetting energy to deal with globally, and perhaps personally, for the rest of this month and for part of October because of it. Mars/Uranus was the culprit in Kobe Bryant’s chart (an early Virgo) and was also instrumental in both the charts of John Ritter (Virgo)and Johnny Cash(Pisces) at their deaths. Yassar Arafat is also an early Virgo and I expect some big news about him pretty soon, as I predicted on KUSI about a month ago. We’ll all have to keep our eyes on Kobe Bryant, as he is in for some major upsets with Mars/Uranus aspecting his natal chart in a heavy way.
I have had many clients who are early Pisces or early Virgo who have had some wild occurrences in their lives of late. Some of them have had health issues that came on rather suddenly. Yours Truly has Mars/Uranus Pisces in opposition to my natal Pluto in Virgo, and the day before the Full Moon in Pisces last week I injured my knee! This is not to freak you out about injuries and other weirdness. But here’s a word to the wise. It seems that this planetary combination has a way of suddenly revealing things that need attention, so pay attention if something physical becomes a problem. Also, Mars/Uranus seems to be pushing people to over-exert themselves. So, pace yourself. This is a good time to focus on BALANCE and MODERATION, even though you won’t feel like it and others won’t be feeling like it either.
On another note, with all this craziness going on with the planets, is there any wonder that the whole California Recall Election is up in the air? As some of you may remember, Mercury was VERY retrograde at the time of the election of George W. Bush, and we all know how that went. Suffice it to say; whatever happens with the Recall Election will be unexpected and odd. I don’t even know if I have a prediction at this point. I kind of still think the Recall Election will happen, but who the heck knows. Governor Schwarznegger, I presume.
On the lighter side, as I predicted last January, J Lo and Ben have split up, at least for the moment, and as I suspected, it was Ben’s doing. These two Leo’s probably had a fiery romance in the beginning, but with two egos this big, both wanting center stage, and both wanting their way, things were bound to get ugly. These two are really not meant to be.
